He graduated the Yakutian branch of the History and Philology Faculty at Yakutsk State University. During his student years, he actively participated in amateur art activities. Peter was a soloist of the khomus ensemble \u00abAlgys\u00bb and the song and dance ensemble \u00abSaryal\u00bb. He also studied at the khomus studio at the Eurasian Scientific and Methodological Center. After graduating the university, he became a soloist-instrumentalist of the Yakutsk State Philharmonic Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peter Ogotoev is a participant of the Yakutian literature and art day in the central cities of the Soviet Union (1972). He actively promoted khomus music in many countries of the world (Mongolia, Japan, Italy, Romania, Germany, Switzerland, France, America, Korea, India, Norway). Diploma winner at the III All-Russian Competition of &nbsp;Folk Instrument Performers (Tula, 1986). Participant of the XII, XIII World Festivals of &nbsp;Youth and Students (Moscow, 1985, Pyongyang, 1989).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; Petr Petrovich was actively involved in teaching activities. He opened the \u201cKhomus Class\u201d at the Yakutsk Musical College and the \u201cKhomus School\u201d at the author&#8217;s school of A.I.
